Pokémon fans rejoice! Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have just announced that tomorrow, June 6th, 2017, an 8-minute Pokémon Nintendo Direct will be released at 7am PT/10am ET. As with most Nintendo Direct announcements, there weren’t any further details, but considering this is so close to E3 2017 the news has the potential to make a big impact.
Could it be the long-rumored Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon Sun & Moon, who some believe will be titled Pokémon Stars? Will they take us by surprise and announce an entirely new title for the Nintendo Switch, maybe getting us closer to the dream of many fans around the world who scream for a full Pokémon MMORPG? Alternatively, could the Nintendo 3DS be receiving another entry, perhaps a remake of a classic title? Lastly, could this have to do with their mobile strategy, or have something to do with Pokémon GO?
