Shadow of the Tomb Raider Potentially Leaked

Over the last few months, the gaming community has suspected that a new Tomb Raider was in development. A lot of Xbox gamers suspected that the new Tomb Raider title would be shown during Microsoft’s press conference at E3 2017, but after the dust settled there was no sight of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Less than three days after E3 2017 came to a close, a leak has potentially occurred revealing that Shadow of the Tomb Raider might be in development.

A few months ago, a Reddit user by the moniker tripleh280 claimed to have spotted a man working on a power point for Shadow of the Tomb Raider.  The words on the power point are mostly illegible to read but a logo on the top right of the screen can be made out as Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Tripleh280 stated that he was traveling into downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada when he spotted the individual working on the power point. The photo was taken close to the headquarters of Rise of the Tomb Raider co-developer Eidos Montreal, who worked on the game alongside Crystal Dynamics.

For almost eight months, the world has wondered if the image posted by Tripleh280 was authentic and how much validity it had, but yesterday afternoon some images emerged that made the community suspect that Shadow of the Tomb Raider is real and in the works. The newest leak comes from a website called Takeoff Creative, which is currently under maintenance.  The company is an LA-based marketing studio that exclusively creates promotional material for video games; the company has worked with Square Enix in the past so it would come as no surprise if the two were working with one another yet again.  Although Takeoff Creative is based in Los Angeles, the company also has design studios in Montreal, London, and Lyon. It is possible that Take

It is probable that Takeoff Creative is working with Eidos Montreal on Shadow of the Tomb Raider especially after images of concept art and logos were spotted on Takeoff Creative’s website. The site had a number of logos, concept art with Lara exploring locations, and potential weapons that Lara could use such as a machete, spear, whip, and a bow. Could we see Shadow of the Tomb Raider at PAX West, The Tokyo Game Show, or The Game Awards?
