With a release date set for this September, NIS America has unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming action-RPG, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA, while also detailing the PlayStation 4 exclusive Day One edition.
The new trailer is titled “The Explorers of Seiren,” is just under a minute long and can be found below. It highlights four of the playable characters that will be joining Adol in his journey. This includes a young noblewoman, Laxia, a fisherman named Sahad, the transporter, Hummel, and an isle native named Ricotta. NIS America will be releasing Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA on PC, via Steam, the PlayStation 4 and Vita, in North America beginning on Sept 12, 2017. The European release will follow on Sept. 15, 2017.
While the standard edition and Day One edition will both feature reversible covers, the Day One edition will be available for the PlayStation 4 only. It will include a select soundtrack, with 5 tracks from the game (Lacrimosa of DANA -Opening Ver-, Next Step Toward the Unknown, Smash Up!, Iclucian Dance and Corridor of Lost Ages), as well as an art booklet that features 32-pages of full-colored art work.
