Sonic Forces, the next entry in this the long running franchise after the fantastic Sonic Mania, will be headed to North America and Europe on November 7th, 2017 for $39.99. In addition, Pre-orders are now open for the physical Bonus Edition, which include a Sonic Forces controller skin, four art cards, and the SEGA/Atlus DLC for in-game cosmetic items which will allow you to customize your own hero with 13 outfits from Persona 5, Jet Set Radio, Super Monkey Ball, NiGHTS, and Puyo Puyo.
Details on the digital versions still have yet to be revealed, but most likely will include the special costumes. In Europe, a Shadow the Hedgehog costume is also available as a pre-order incentive, though there is no word about it for North America at this time.
Sonic Forces is a 2D/3D title that has you taking control of three different characters. Modern Sonic, who will traverse 3D worlds at high speed, Classic Sonic, who will allow you to relive the glory days of 2D Sonic titles, much like Sonic Mania, but with modern graphics, and a brand new Custom Hero Character who will be able to take advantage of unique weapons and abilities.
Sonic Forces will launch on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 7th, 2017.
