Rockstar Teases A Red Dead Redemption 2 Reveal For Next Week

Rockstar Games has just revealed when we will be finding out more about one of 2018’s most anticipated titles, Red Dead Redemption 2. On Thursday, September 28th at 11am EST, we will be treated to some type of trailer, gameplay reveal, or announcement that will hopefully make the wait for next year that much easier, or harder, depending on how you look at it.

The image that was Tweeted, which you can see above, doesn’t give us much indication of what to expect, and doesn’t even say Red Dead Redemption. That being said, the font, style, and colors used leave no question as to what this will be about.

Thinking beyond the obvious, this also could potentially be a remaster of sorts for the original Red Dead Redemption that may even end up on the Nintendo Switch as well, hinting that RDR2 will also one day find its way there. A long shot, but why not have fun speculating?

Red Dead Redemption 2 was announced on October 18th, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and was originally slated to release in Fall 2017. On May 22nd, 2017 that game was delayed to Spring 2018 and in the post from Rockstar, they did mention that they are “excited to bring you more details about the game this summer.” It appears as if they are true to their word, and that is a great thing for all of us.

To get you ready for whatever is in store for next week, we’ve included the original announcement trailer below and most importantly, we’d love to hear your thoughts on what you think we will learn about Red Dead Redemption 2 in just a short time. Did you play the original? What are you hoping for in this next iteration? Let us know your thoughts and stay tuned to Marooners’ Rock for all things Red Dead and so much more!
