Switch and 3DS Nintendo Direct Arriving This Wednesday

Nintendo has just announced that another Nintendo Direct will be arriving in just two short days. On Wednesday, September 13th at 3pm PT/6 PM ET, a Nintendo Direct will arrive that will focus on the Switch and 3DS titles headed to us in the next few months. Possibly most exciting is that Nintendo’s website states we will be getting a “in-depth look at Super Mario Odyssey.” It’s hard to believe we are just a little over a month until October 27th arrives and brings Mario’s next adventure to us, and hopefully this will help the agony of waiting just a little bit.

There are many more rumors and ideas as to what this 45-minute Nintendo Direct will reveal to us, like Bethesda’s VP of Marketing, Pete Hines, saying they have an unannounced game releasing this year that may or may not be the Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition for Nintendo Switch that a Spanish Retailer may have leaked. While that may be a long shot, a more realistic prediction would be us getting a firm release date for Skyrim on the Nintendo Switch, which still says it will be arriving this year.

I, for one, am hoping for the long-awaited Nintendo Switch Virtual Console announcement. While we have the Super NES Classic launching in just a few weeks, being able to play all of Nintendo’s historic catalog of games on their newest console would be something special, and probably make the Nintendo Switch even harder to find than it already is.

What are you hoping for in the newest Nintendo Direct? Let us know you predictions below and be sure to tune into Nintendo’s Website, Twitch Channel, or YouTube Channel on Wednesday, September 13th at 3pm PT/6pm ET for the latest and great news from Nintendo and be sure to stay tuned to Marooners’ Rock for all the news that follows.
