Over the last five years, the WWE 2K franchise has received a lot of criticism from the gaming community due to limited roster size, lacking story lines, in-game bugs, and lack of create-able content. Despite the poor review scores, WWE 2K games still sell relatively well, probably due to the devoted WWE fan base. This year, WWE 2K18 looks to improve on what previous versions of the game has established while giving fans a different roster.
WWE 2K18’s Roster is the largest roster for any WWE game. At first glance, WWE 2K18 should be a fun wrestling experience, but lets take a deeper look at the roster to see what WWE 2K18 has in store.

After looking at WWE 2k18’s roster, the next wrestling game should be a huge improvement over WWE 2K16 and WWE 2K17. Sadly at the moment, Matt and Jeff Hardy are not included in the active roster which is surprising due to their WWE return back at Wrestlemania 33; it is also disappointing that Austin Aries will not be in the game even though he just recently left the WWE. Fans of the Indie scene and newer wrestlers should be happy with the list of wrestlers in WWE 2K18.
WWE 2K18 is developed collaboratively by Yuke’s and Visual Concepts, a 2K studio; WWE 2K18 is rated “T” for Teen by the ESRB. WWE 2K18 is currently scheduled for worldwide release on October 17, 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as this Fall 2017 for Nintendo Switch. Early Access players will be able to play the game and receive in-game bonuses four days early on October 13, 2017.
