For some, the end of summer is a heartbreaking time, for others, it is the start of their favorite time of the year. With the return of Fall comes the return of Pumpkin Spice everything, Halloween, sweaters and the falling of the leaves. Sadly, October 2017’s Games with Gold offer will not entertain the sugar rushed kids very long leading up to Halloween. October’s Games with Gold will feature two new indie arcade titles as well as a beloved Ubisoft franchise.
October 2017’s Games with Gold will feature Gone Home, The Turing Test, Rayman 3 HD, and Medal of Honor Airborne.
Starting on October 1st Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download Gone Home for the Xbox One ($19.99) and will be free until October 31st, Halloween night. Gone Home is the story of the player returning home to discover that all of their family and loved ones are missing. The player must then discover what has occurred. Gone Home is from the creators of Tacoma.
Starting on October 16th, Xbox Live Gold members can download The Turing Test, a logic provoking puzzle game set on Jupiter’s moon, Europa. The Turning Test ($19.99) will be free until November 15th on Xbox One.
Starting on October 1st, Xbox 360 and Xbox One users will be able to download and play Ubisoft’s beloved title Rayman 3 HD. Rayman 3 HD ($9.99) will be free until October 16th. Take on Black Lum’s army of hoodlums.
Last and probably the worst title in October 2017’s Games with Gold offer, Xbox Live Gold members can download Medal of Honor Airborne. Medal of Honor Airborne($19.99) is often consider one of the worst game in the franchise’s history and the turning point that led to the timely demise of the franchise. Medal of Honor Airborne will be free until October 31st on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
October 2017’s Games with Gold may not be a block buster month but it will provide gamers with some interesting experiences.
