Dead Rising 4 (Xbox One) Review

It’s the 10th Anniversary of the first installment of Dead Rising, and what better way to celebrate than to have the original game’s protagonist, Frank West, return to where it all started: Willamette, Colorado. I have played and loved every Dead Rising game. Sure they have had their issues but they are bloody good fun. Zombies, government conspiracies, a cast of crazy characters, and TONS of weap...[Read More]

Dishonored 2 Review

I really enjoyed the first Dishonored. It gave me a newfound respect for stealth games. Usually I would just run through the game killing everyone in sight to get to the ending. With Dishonored, I took my time, planed out every kill, and did my best to keep the chaos low in Dunwall.

Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour Review

Anyone who grew up in the nineties has uttered the words “Hail to the king baby,” at one time or another. We grew up in an era where CD-roms were all the rage and you either were the kid with all the games, or you went to your friends house because they had all the games. My family was pretty late to the game getting a computer, but when we did, you can bet that I tried to get as many games as pos...[Read More]

Dear Esther: Landmark Edition Review

I originally played Dear Esther back in 2012. The promise of a narrative driven game about someone that has been in a car accident called out to me. I played it. I finished it. I got incredibly sad after playing the game. While I’m not saying that’s a bad thing it’s something new. Later that year I was in a severe car accident myself and I consider myself lucky that I am alive today. Somehow I man...[Read More]

The King of Fighters XIV Review

I’ve been a fan of fighting games since I was a kid. I remember playing as Ryo & Robert in the first Art of Fighting and I played THE HELL out of Fatal Fury on my Super Nintendo. I went back and forth on the King of Fighters series only because I didn’t always have the systems the series appeared on. I was excited that King of Fighters XIV was coming to the PS4 because I couldnR...[Read More]

Homefront: The Revolution Review

I played a lot of first person shooters. If there’s a new Call of Duty, I’ll buy it. They’re a guilty pleasure of mine. Why? Because they’re fun. I can zone out. I was excited to see Homefront coming to the Xbox One because I was a fan of the first game. I did know one thing though, it’s a new generation of consoles, so I expected some new things from this new game.
