Today Capcom announced that, even though months have passed since the launch of Super Street Fighter IV, they will continue to roll out new alternate costumes for their fans, with some coming out as early as October 26th.
I’ve never been a big fan of the Resident Evil series. It’s never held even the slightest bit of appeal for me. Lindsey, on the other hand, has for the most part been completely enamored with it, so perhaps she will be more excited by part of this news than I am. Wesker (a Resident Evil character, I guess) is coming to Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Oh, and Spider-Man.
Personally, I’m not particularly excited about either of these characters appearing in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but hey, maybe one of you guys happens to be shit-your-pants excited about it. Tron Bonne was an antagonist in a Mega Man game who developed feelings for Mega Man (or some such crap), and X-23 is a female clone of Wolverine (this makes how many clones/derivatives of Wolverine now?).
Huh. File this one under “Didn’t see that coming.” Dante is going back to basics in franchise reboot DMC.
Capcom announced the upcoming game, Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds at PAX at the beginning of the month, and Lindsey jumped on it to share that tidbit of excitement with the world. Well, I’m hopping on her bandwagon – I have a new trailer to share with you now!
Finally, after 20 years I can put a Hard Hat head on Mega Man.
The gaming equivalent to James Bond’s Q came out at PAX with a whole bunch of gizmos and gadgets that will make our gaming lives so much better.
Don’t believe me? Check out the new game play from the Blue Bomber’s newest incarnation, Mega Man Universe. What’s old is new again as you get side scrolling, Mega Bustering, platform jumping action with good ol’ Mega Man and…Ryu?
The Penny Arcade Expo, PAX, is less than two days away, so brace yourselves for an onslaught of gaming news and goodness this weekend. Today Capcom sent out an email letting the press know the games that they would be showing, so that people could have hands-on time with them. This list goes like this:
Earlier this week we gave you a plethora of screenshots (I just would like to know if you know what a plethora is.) highlighting Viewtiful Joe and Dormammu, recently announced as new challengers in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again (and again, and again, and again, until you just want to shoot me to get me to shut the hell up about it)...[Read More]
With so much information coming to us from Gamescom in Germany, it can be hard to sift through to find the gold. Well, here’s some golden information about Dead Rising 2.
Needless to say, we’re pretty excited about Marvel vs. Capcom 3 around here. The slow but steady reveal process of playable characters is definitely serving its purpose of getting me even more excited about a game that I can’t have until next year, and luckily, their odd selection of characters is turning into something really interesting. Two new characters have been announced; one ...[Read More]
