Earlier this week, the beta for the highly anticipated Destiny 2 was released. There is definitely much excitement to be had with this upcoming sequel as the original Destiny’s player base has grown tremendously since it’s initial release. I for one have been very optimistic for Destiny 2, and now that I have gotten some good time in with the beta, here are my impressions.
If you’re a fan of Destiny, you may need to re-schedule your vacation as Destiny 2 will be released early.
Bungie’s first gameplay trailer at the Destiny 2 Reveal shows just how much they have been listening to the fans. Best part about sequels in video games is just how much feedback developers have to use and how they implement that into future titles.
Destiny is one of the most expensive games of our time, proving that the budget of a project will not reflect the final product. During the first ever Destiny private match competition hosted by Major League Gaming it was announced that this would be a feature available to all current Destiny owners on Xbox One and Playstation 4. Bungie recently held a Call to Arms weekend in conjunction with Stack Up to help find the military’s biggest Destiny fans. Their goal with this search was to find “deserving active duty or retired veterans with an honorable discharge” (they admit on their site that “deserving” is a subjective term), a group which they call the Air Assaults.
A promotional image has just swept through the internet, starting with Reddit (where all the leaks happen apparently) and being reported on by Kotaku. This image seems to be a direct reveal of the next expansion to one of the most over-hyped games of all time, Destiny.
