Johnny Depp Wins Defamation Suit; Heard Wins 2 Million in Counterclaim

Today at 3 PM ET, The jury for the Depp-Heard delivered their verdict in favor of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor in the amount of 15 million dollars. In addition, Heard won 2 million as a result of her counterclaim. Depp was not present at the verdict due to work commitments.

Warner Bros wanted to drop Amber Heard in Aquaman 2; role in sequel ‘pared down’

When Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom debuts in theatres next year, Aquaman won’t be seeing much of his queen. During the ongoing Depp/Heard defamation case, Amber Heard testified that in the wake of her divorce and the 2018 op-ed, her role in the Aquaman sequel had been continuously ‘pared down’ with the actress nearly being dropped from the film if not for the intervention of two unnamed executives.
