Slam Bolt Scrappers Available Now on PSN

Very rarely do I regret not having a PS3 simply because I adore my 360. Today Sony Online Entertainment and Fire Hose Games released Slam Bolt Scrappers for PSN and I’m green with envy because I don’t get to play it. The game has ass-kicking, puzzles, and lasers! LASERS!

Playstation Network Getting the Awesomely Named Slam Bolt Scrappers

Sony Online Entertainment and Fire Hose Games are putting out a puzzle/brawler/thing on the Playstation Network. It has brawling and robots. What else do you want?

EverQuest II: Destiny of Velious Roundtable Discussion

Last week, I had the chance to sit in a roundtable discussion with Sony Online Entertainment’s Senior Producer, David Georgeson, and members of other gaming websites. The session, which lasted about an hour long, was not only a ton of fun but gave me a new appreciation for the MMO genre. Georgeson, who boasts an impressive resume, has been working in the industry for over two decades, having...[Read More]

Now Even More DCU Online Servers

Apparently a lot of people really want to play this game. Sony just keeps having to make more room for them.

DC Universe Online – Save the World this January

Last month, we took you to the Sony Online Entertainment studio in Austin, TX to get a good, long look at their upcoming action-MMO, DC Universe Online. When the original November release date was pushed to “spring 2011” at the eleventh hour, it left many interested players wondering when they could get their hands on the game (outside of beta). Now, thanks to an IGN interview with Gam...[Read More]

SOE’s Holiday Cheer!

Cars hidden under ten feet of snow. Malls full of procrastinators trying to purchase the perfect holiday gift. Grampa breaking a hip after he falls on some ice. None of this sounds nice. So, to help pick you up this winter, Sony Online Entertainment is going to give us a lil’ somethin’ somethin’!

The Force is With Apple

Like every other Mac user, you get tired of hearing all of your Windows using friends talk about their newest online game that you can’t play. Yesterday Sony Online Entertainment, LucasArts and TransGaming released Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures on Mac. Suck on that Windows junkies!

Review: Crescent Pale Mist (PS3)

Crescent Pale Mist is a new PlayStation downloadable game from Sony Online Entertainment and Rockin’ Android. It is a six-level, side-scrolling fighter/adventure game that has you face off against assassins, sorcerers and supernatural monsters while navigating the maze-like terrain. So, after playing all six levels, what did I think of the game?

DC Universe Online – Holy Batman!

Batman is kind of cool. He has a nice car. A nice cave. Even a cute little sidekick. (Sorry, Robin!) Well, let’s check him out in DC Universe Online! We have some amazing screenshots for you featuring Amusement Mile, Arkham and even the Batcave! Enjoy!

Video Games & Cheetahs?

When I think of video games, I certainly do not think of cheetahs. And, I most definitely do not think of saving animals. Apparently when Sony Online Entertainment thinks of one, however, they think of the other!

DC Universe Online – Final Thoughts

No, this isn’t www.worldofjerryspringer.com, and my “Final Thoughts” won’t be some silly moral lesson based on the day’s cat-fights and obscenities. I couldn’t think of a better title for this post, so if you don’t like it, please feel free to leave a comment. Keep in mind that I will ignore your comment. I may even make fun of your grammar and spelling wh...[Read More]

DC Universe Online – Hands-on Impressions

Have I mentioned that I attended a press event at the DC Universe Online studio last week in Austin, TX? Well, I did, and part of that press event included almost two hours of hands-on game time on both PC and PS3. Jealous, much? Well, you should be. Long story short (if it’s not too late for that), the game is fantastic, and I can’t wait for the official release.
