In a recent Twitter post on the official Sonic The Hedgehog movie account, a teaser has been released for the now-officially-titled Sonic The Hedgehog 2. They also announced the release date of April 8, 2022, alongside a fun hint that Tails will be featured throughout the film, something that was already surmised thanks to the post-credits scene in the first film.

As we reported last week, the rumor about Sonic Mania being released on August 15th, 2017 is indeed the release date for the return of Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic Mania will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch for $19.99.

Sonic Mania Release Date Potentially Revealed

According to the European Steam Pages of Sonic Mania, the release date of the upcoming return of everyone’s favorite blue hedgehog may very well be August 15th, 2017. Shown as at the end of a revised announcement trailer, the date now shows August 15th, 2017, as opposed to the original Summer 2017.
