Thoughts on The Social Network

I saw David Fincher and Aaron Sorkin’s excellent new film The Social Network today and have spent the time since it ended ruminating on the piece you’re now reading. The film put me on a train of thought I’m not sure the filmmakers intended but which has driven me to a point of distraction where I’m forced to put it down on (in this case virtual) paper before I can write about the film itself.

Oooh, Shiny! Check Out the New Xbox Dashboard!

Last week Xbox Live Gold Members were able to sign up to beta test the new dashboard that was slated to come out. I signed myself up hoping to share it with the site, and fortunately I was selected. Today I was prompted to update my console, and what you’re about to see is a video I recorded this evening showing you all the features.

Hell, I even had my own podcast once, but in the end I’m just really not much of a podcast person. Enter the sultry podcast, A Slut’s Guide.

If you remember, last week Chris wrote a review about a game called Fastar!, a quirky, fun, throwback to the epic NES RPG days. The minds behind Fastar!, and the App Store hit Blue Defense, are Cat in a Box Games. John Kooistra, the main cheese on the team, was kind enough to sit down with us for an interview.
