Xbox 360 Technical Support (GRR)

I understand that a company as large as Microsoft requires a very large technical support staff.  I can understand that putting their technical support centers in India is more cost-effective for them.  I can understand that, since the centers are in India, they are more likely to use scripts and automatic emails to get over the language barrier.  I understand all of this, and  yet I am furious at...[Read More]

Asshole friend

Whoever did this is a real asshole… … … … But it makes for a hilarious GIF! That can’t have felt good. -Because I said so

Our Friend Farshad

I have a friend named Farshad.  Farshad is a very interesting individual, to say the least.  He’s a great guy, no doubt, but he has a personality that is hard to forget, and easy to get a laugh from. He has a lot of sayings that were slightly abrasive, such as how almost everything was “badass” (say it with EMPHASIS).  Everything takes a dump on everything else, and everything is...[Read More]

I don’t know what to put in this post

I have absolutely no idea what to put in this post.  I thought about it and thought about it, and finally decided to post about how I didn’t know what to post about.  That counts as a post, right? It gets difficult when you don’t have any new experiences between posts to really talk about.  It makes finding new topics quite a challenge.  And yet, in a roundabout way, I’ve managed...[Read More]

Kool-Aid

Lindsey made two little singles packets of Kool-Aid for us to drink.  The directions are fairly simple: mix the powder with sugar and water. Each of the singles packets called for 1 cup of sugar, meaning she poured a full two-cup measuring cup of sugar into our serving pitcher. Holy shit that’s a lot of sugar. -Because I said so

An Interesting Altercation

I like love NEED to wash my hands.  I wash them very thoroughly and very vigorously on a frequent basis.  If I touch our dog, I wash my hands.  If I touch a bathroom door (or anything in a bathroom), I wash my hands.  If I touch a slightly dirty dish, I was my hands.  If I touch my hands, I wash my hands!  Well, not so much that last one, but I am very neurotic about my hands.  Why does any of thi...[Read More]

Bionic Commando (Xbox 360 Demo)

I loved this game as a kid.  Bionic Commando was, as they say, “the balls.”  That’s a good thing, I assure you.  Prince of Persia and Ninja Gaiden showed us that remakes, when done well, can provide an equally impressive experience now as their predecessors did decades ago.  With that in mind, I eagerly downloaded the Bionic Commando demo from the Xbox Live Marketplace and gave i...[Read More]

Subway: Six-inch Showdown

This past Tuesday, Lindsey and I were jonesing for some sandwiches.  We had a coupon book that came in the mail for Subway, so we grabbed it and headed over.  We went to our favorite Subway location, which is only a couple of blocks from our apartment, at Willow and Herndon.  It’s clean, convenient, and next door to a GameStop, Target, and Best Buy.  Generally, they’re very nice people...[Read More]

Chatty Moogs

One thing we’ve noticed about Moogle is how curious she is. She wonders what is inside a cabinet, wonders what is so awesome about the fridge, and other things. She has also taken a great interest in our laptop and PC. She watches how the mouse cursor flits about the screen, and will stare at our fingers as they click on the keyboard. When Chris is at work, him and I talk throughout the day ...[Read More]

What’s Wrong With You Guys?

Thanks to WordPress, we can view what people searched for that led them to our blog. I must say, some of you guys/gals are sick puppies lol Here are the top search results of all time for our blog (yes, I know that it’s not as many results compared to most blog sites but we are still growing): Now some of those are nothing, however if I run a search for the top results for the past 30 days, ...[Read More]

Donnie’s Dookie Disaster!

Almost all of you who read this blog know about our dog Donnie. For those of you who don’t, last year Chris and I adopted a dog who was already named Donnie. At the time he was 4, was owner released, and is a Terrier/Chihuahua mix. Luckily Donnie took on more of the Terrier traits and personality than the shakey Chihuahua. We found out right away that Donnie wasn’t house trained, but a...[Read More]

WoW, Just WoW Pt. 2

Some of you might remember my post from 6 days ago about the kid freaking out that his Mom cancelled his World of Warcraft account. Apparently it wasn’t, but that just means we are given the opportunity to laugh some more at this sad kid and his addiction to WoW. This morning I get up, get on AIM, and Chris  sends me a link to this wonderful gem on Youtube…. youtube::WWBfLOZ2CjQ:: I wi...[Read More]
