Corpse Party Coming Soon to 3DS and More!

XSEED Games is bringing new versions of the hit horror game to North America! Originally released 20 years ago, Corpse Party is a chilling visual novel experience that takes players on a terrifying journey.

This version of the title is a remastered editition from the 2011 PSP game. Titled Corpse Party: Back to School Edition, it will be released physically at the price of $49.99. Also, a digital release in the Nintendo eShop will be available for $29.99. Featuring high-resolution characters, new music, 3D art stills, as well as including high-quality miniature figurines of characters Naomi Nakashima and Seiko Shinohara, plus a soundtrack CD containing nearly 80 minutes of music from the game not previously featured on the ‘Songs of the Dead’ compilation, including three tracks exclusive to this Nintendo 3DS version, this is the definitive Corpse Party experience. Look for it later this Summer.

Also, be on the look out for Corpse Party on the PC April 25th. Available digitally through Steam, GOG.com and the Humble Store, pick this version up for $14.99. While this is not the remastered edition, it is the truest to the original PC release never released outside of Japan. Original art and voice acting will be present, as well as multiple endings, and bonus chapters on top of the five main story chapters. New features in the game include the ability to fast forward through portions to help reach all endings.

Doug bashes his fists against the keyboard and eventually a piece of video is made, sometimes it is even funny. Some of his gaming accomplishments are: completing a living Pokedex on the Pokebank, 1000 pointing BCFX: Black College Football: The X-perience: the Doug Williams Edition, and only crying five times during the Kingdom Hearts series.
