AurumDust Releases Meet The Team Video for Ash of Gods: Redemption

Ash of Gods Icon

We love behind the scenes videos here, especially when they offer the chance to get a look behind the scenes at a new team. It’s a joy to see a team like AurumDust release a Meet the Team video ahead of the release for their upcoming RPG Ash of Gods: Redemption.

In this new video, we get to meet some of the major people behind Ash of Gods: Redemption. Nikolay Bondarenko, leader of the AurumDust team. Dmitry Erokhin, Lead Game Designer. Igor Podmogilnikov, Art Director. Adam Skorupa, Composer. It’s a great five-minute video that shows a lot of behind-the-scenes for the development of the game, and a little bit of insight into some of the developers themselves. It’s a great showcase for how each piece of the development process fits together to create one amazing visual and aural gaming experience!

Now officially renamed from Ash of Gods to Ash of Gods: Redemption, the game received a big boost earlier in the week when AurumDust announced that they would be partnering with Russian publisher Buka Entertainment to bring Ash of Gods: Redemption to consoles later in 2018. The game’s PC release on Steam remains set for March 23rd.

Ash of Gods Story Combat

I’m no expert, but giant swirls during combat are usually a Bad Thing.

In addition, the game was announced yesterday as one of the massive hundred indie games that will be on display during PAX East 2018 as part of the Indie MEGABOOTH! The game will have some new content to showcase as part of the MINIBOOTH showcase on Saturday and Sunday of the show.

We’re definitely looking forward to getting some hands-on time with this promising RPG. The combination of turn-based combat, branching rogue-like decision trees, and a lovely art style reminiscent of the Banner Saga looks like it’s got huge potential. Reaching a good ending though sounds like it may take some serious effort.
