Saying 2020 has been a disaster is an understatement. Disappointingly, the Games with Gold offers for 2020 have been rather underwhelming. Over the last three months, Sony has continuously given PlayStation Plus members quality titles to enjoy; in fact, a majority of the PlayStation Plus titles offered in 2020 have been games appealing to a large audience. Microsoft needs to appeal to a grander audience. The Games with Gold Program throughout 2020 has offered multiple niche genres. This means a little bit of something for everyone; however, this leaves many feeling shorted. Below we will be covering the September 2020 Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus offers.
Yesterday August 26th, 2020, Sony announced the PlayStation Plus lineup for September 2020; in September, PS+ members will have access to Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds and Street Fighter V. Today, August 27th, 2020, Microsoft announced the Xbox September 2020 Games with Gold offers. Starting on September 1st, Xbox Live Gold members can redeem for free Tom Clancy’s The Division ($29.99 ERP) and de Blob 2 ($19.99 ERP). The Division will be available from September 1 to 30 on Xbox One; whereas, de Blob 2 will be available from September 1 to 15 on Xbox One & Xbox 360.
Starting on September 16th, Gold members can redeem for free The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 ($19.99 ERP) and Armed and Dangerous ($9.99 ERP). The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 will be available from September 16 to October 15 on Xbox One. The last title, Armed and Dangerous will be available from September 16 to 30 on Xbox One & Xbox 360.
Remember, you have until August 31st to redeem the August offer for Portal Knights and Red Faction 2. PlayStation Plus members still have access to Fall Guys and Modern Warfare 2: Campaign Remastered until August 31st.
