The July 2021 Pokemon Go Community Day Has Pigs Swarm

Tepig Community Day

With Summer underway in the Northern Hemisphere, Pokemon Go trainers will soon have something to barbeque. If you are not a fan of grilling on the barbeque, you can always cook it over a roasting fire. In June, Pokemon Go trainers had the opportunity to catch a Shiny Gible for June 2021’s Community Day. After a year of semi-lackluster community days, Niantic has started to announce community days that trainers actually desire. In less than 2 weeks, the July 2021 Pokemon Go community will feature a flaming pig. The July 2021 Pokemon Go community day Pokemon is the Fire Pig Pokemon Tepig.

The day before Independence Day in the United States of America, Pokemon Go Trainers will be hunting a fire pig. Despite many being excited for the July 2021 Pokemon Go Community Day, many are upset with Niantic for rescinded bonuses and radiuses instituted during the pandemic. Despite the pandemic still being underway, Niantic is rescinding steps put into place to protect trainers during the pandemic. Many trainers feel these are steps by Niantic to increase the amount of money they can get from trainers.

On July 3rd from 11 AM to 5 PM local time, Pokemon Go trainers will have the opportunity to catch a shiny or perfect Tepig. Pignite’s evolved into Emboar or Emboars caught during the event and two hours after will have the exclusive move Blast Burn. During the event, incense and lures will last for three hours; additionally, a 3x multiplier will be active during the six hours.

Before and during the event, the “Roasted Berries” optional special research ticket will be available for purchase. The Roasted Berries ticket will give trainers additional Tepig candies, spawns, and items. By taking snapshots during the event, trainers can find an additional five Tepig.
