Capcom and Extra Life Team Up for Spooky Stream Challenge to Raise Money for Kids

Many of you here know I happen to take part in Extra Life over the past 8 years. For those of you that don’t know of me, but do raise money for Extra Life. Keep up the great work you’re also doing! By all means, in the comments below, share your Extra Life page, or if you’re taking part in this as well keep us informed. Today, Extra Life has announced it has teamed up with Capcom for a Spooky Stream Challenge.

What’s going on, you ask? Who doesn’t like a good horror game? With this month being all about scary things for Halloween. Extra Life and Capcom has asked, how would you like to win a free copy of Resident Evil Village for PlayStation? For those of you already taking part in Extra Life, all you have to do is sign up for this challenge and raise more money than your fellow Spooky Stream Challengers between October 20th and November 3rd, 2021. More details to this are below!

Did you know if you’re the first 20 Extra Life participants who sign up for the challenge will receive a Resident Evil item kit, courtesy of Capcom? Now you might be wondering, what’s needed for all of this? Between October 20th and November 3rd, 2021 head to your streaming platform of choice, which mine is Twitch. During those dates, boot up any Resident Evil game and play away and enjoy the spooky time in front of you all while raising money for kids. When you stream between October 20 and November 3, be sure to play Resident Evil as part of your streams!

Looking for ways to get people to come to your stream to donate? Advice from my part would be you could chat with friends, family, or even share in the Discords you’re in with permission. My advice is to tell people what you’ll be doing, inform those that don’t know about Extra Life on what it happens to be, where funds go from Extra Life, and the information of what’s happened this year if you’ve been raising throughout the year. You can also link those wanting to know more to https://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=cms.page&id=1103.

You must submit the Spooky Streams Challenge sign-up form in order to compete for the prize. If you don’t provide a shipping address, you won’t be considered to receive one of the item kits from Capcom.
