Phantom Breaker: Omnia Releases Spicy Edition Update

The fight between time and space continues. Phantom Breaker: Omnia has rolled out a new, free update for all owners of the game, across all platforms. This update turns Phantom Breaker: Omnia into Phantom Breaker: Omnia Spicy Edition, which features new commentary tracks and quality of life improvements.

The update features a few new additions and a bevy of improvements tweaks, which can be viewed here on the Rocket Panda’s website. The list includes tweaking various aspects of the game’s combat, including damage and defense adjustments to certain characters, but the biggest additions include “sic” and “extra spicy” commentary from The Announcer. Other adjustments include more additions to Training Mode, BP Bonuses, and “Burning Ranks” for those exceeding rank 999.

Phantom Breaker: Omnia is the latest addition to the Phantom Breaker series, and is a 2D anime fighting game with an assortment of characters to choose from. Fully voiced in English and Japanese, it is an aggressively action-packed and stylish fighting game, with combat systems tailored for both casual and seasoned fighters.

The game also features two guest characters! Thrust into battle from a distortion in space time, Kurisu Makise (from the hit anime and manga, Steins Gate) uses her skills and knowledge in science and technology to fight. Rimi from the sci-fi visual novel Chaos;Head joins the battle, using her abilities as an Asper to turn delusions into reality. With gorgeously designed levels, character, and animation,  players are encouraged to set their hearts ablaze to fight for lance across the universes.

Phantom Breaker: Omnia looks to continue to send waves in the anime and fighting community. There are plenty out there, especially within the anime and animated communities, from Guilty Gear to Granblue Fantasy Versus. Omnia seems to hold its own against the competition, with its eclectic characters, riveting story, and approachable combat systems. It’s great to see the developers have become committed to long-term support of this ambitious fighter, and I truly hope that it continues.

Phantom Breaker: Omnia is now available on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC.
