Following the recent release of Solo: A Star Wars Story, EA has announced that more Han Solo content will be added later this month for Battlefront 2. This will continue the content released for Han Solo Season, which started last month. The Season started with some new game modes such as the Hero Showdown mode. The new Han Solo additions will be based more around the prequel film this time around.
The full list of content can be found on EA’s website, which will include a new map; The Coaxium Mines of Kessel as well as giving players the opportunity to pilot Lando’s Millennium Falcon. The biggest addition, however, is the new game mode Extraction, which seems to be more in line with Battlefield’s Rush mode.
“In Extraction, an infiltration squad must retrieve and escape with a critical payload while fending off enemy forces. Players will join as either attackers or defenders in this asymmetrical and intense mode.”
The new Han Solo content is being released on June 12, which is not long after EA’s E3 2018 press conference. EA promises that Extraction will be showcased at the press conference as well.
