Sega plans to release their new game, Vanquish, on October 19th in the US, October 21st in Australia, and October 22nd across Europe. The game is planned to be released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. However, they plan on giving you a sneak peak at the game before the release. The main man behind the game is Shinji Mikami, known for creating the Resident Evil series, Viewtiful Joe, Devil May Cry, and Ace Attorney.
The game revolves around a US government agent named Sam. Sam is fitted with an ARS, a futuristic battle suit. You use the suit to aid the United States in their fight against Russia. The planet Earth is running low on resources and both countries are battling for control over what is left while on board a giant space station. Throughout the game, you have to battle enemies and robots while using an extensive arsenal of weapons and upgrades. To make the fighting easier, you can use boots and AR mode to help fight enemies. At the end of the demo, you fight a boss called Argus.
The demo is planned to be publically released August 31st in the states, September 1st in Europe, and September 2nd in Australia.
