Atlus’ successful Dungeon Exploring RPG game, Etrian Odyssey, has just released it’s newest sequel, allowing players to explore one of the most mysterious plains, the ocean floor.
The Etrian Odyssey games are best known for their innovative gameplay style, based completely on the maps of the game. Gameplay is completely dependent on your mapmaking skills, everything from moving your characters to determining if you survive the dungeon. You actions will lead your team to uncovering the mystery of a new city in one of the three possible endings.
This newest installment, Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City, has added the high seas to the areas of adventure. In the new Atlantis like city of Armoroad. You and your team travel across the ocean to the depths to the sea to try and discover why this technologically advanced city sunk.
In addition to getting an awesome game, Atlus decided to include a two-sided poster. One side features some lovely character art and the opposite side has an extensive listing of all the character classes.
If you’re a fan of RPG or strategy games, this is really one you can sink your teeth into. It’s got a little bit of everything, even multiplayer so your friends can join in. Atlus has really outdone themselves with this one. Take a look at Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City, available now!
