One of the worst kept secrets of current gaming finally gets confirmed. Team ICO is giving its games the PS3make treatment.
Yes, Japanese games magazine Famitsu has finally confirmed a thing that we have known for a long, long time. We now officially, in an official sense, have ICO and Shadow of the Colossus coming to the PS3. Now it may not be as a collection ala God of War as Famitsu talks about them as separate packages. And we don’t officially have an official confirmation in the official sense as to when they’re being released. But I would guess it would be sometime around the release of The Last Guardian, the newest work from Team ICO.
As a bit of an editorial aside, God bless the people who thought of the God of War Collection. That opened the floodgates for all these PS3makes like the Team ICO collection, Sly Cooper Collection, Prince of Persia Collection or the Splinter Cell Collection. I can’t wait to see what new beloved series from the PS2’s past will get an HD update next. I’m hoping for Ratchet & Clank. Who’s with me?
