Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light made a gigantic splash when it premiered on the Xbox Live Arcade. Now, she’s moving over to the PlayStation Network and Steam. Get ready for the tsunami.
Get ready gamers. Lara Croft (Yes, the adventure lady with the bouncy boobs…) is coming to a gaming system near you. Unless you have an Xbox… I have no idea why you haven’t bought this game yet. This all new adventure, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, is about Lara and her search for another ancient artifact called The Mirror of Smoke. The mirror is guarded by an ancient evil known as Xolotl who wants, like a lot of other video game villains, to plunge the world into darkness. Chris wrote a more in-depth article about the game and it’s gameplay sometime last month. You can check it out here.
Lara isn’t alone on this adventure either. She is joined by the Guardian of Light named Totec. The two join forces to fight Xolotl and save the world. Now this game can either be played alone or with a friend in co-op mode. Personally, I’d go with co-op. More people = more fun.
The game will be out today on the PlayStation Network and Steam so cancel that date you made this morning. The game’s $14.99 and Lara will definitely be more fun than any girl you’re planning on picking up at the bar tonight. Unless she wants to play co-op. If you’re an Xbox 360 owner and you’re just finding out about this, shame on you. But, better late than never I suppose. The game is still available on the Xbox LIVE Arcade 1200 points. No more excuses people, check it out.
