Do you remember Days of Thunder? It starred Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. Do you remember the video game loosely based off of the movie? It was over twenty years ago but if you do, and you enjoyed it you might be happy to know that EA is finally releasing a sequel. Days of Thunder: Nascar Edition.
Now first off, I’ve never seen the movie. Am I missing something? Maybe. I guess I’ll Netflix it. This new installment to the video game – film series is an upcoming arcade racer exclusive to Playstation 3. The game is almost everything you can expect. It features your favorite characters from the movie competing in Nascar races. In addition, it also features many of your favorite Nascar drivers also competing to win.
In addition to the usual modes of play, the folks at EA have decided to will this game up with all the online content you can handle. The game launches with Quick Race, Time Trial, Career Mode and Derby Mode as well as the option to race 11 of your friends online for top position on the leader board.
The game is set to be released in September, exclusively for the Playstation 3.
