Atlus USA just released an update for their hit game 3D Dot Game Heroes and you might be surprised to hear who’s joining the Dotnia team!
For all the readers who have yet to experience the extreme awesomeness of 3D Dot Game Heroes, it might be a smart idea to check it out for yourself because it really is hard to put into words. It’s like bringing your favorite LCD pocket game to life on the PS3 and using your old friends to fight and defend the Kingdom of Dotnia. The game brings up strong feelings of nostalgia in a similar way that Scott Pilgrim did.
Atlus recently introduced a new update for the game which included fifty fan characters, staff created characters, being able to carry over certain weapons in New Game+, as well as minor tweaks in the Dash Circuit mini game.
In a surprise twist, Song Computer Entertainment Europe has created an extremely recognizable character to introduce into the game. It is non other than the star of Media Molecule’s game LittleBigPlanet, Sackboy. Players will now have the ability to play as him from the start of the game, as long as they have downloaded the update.
