So, the good folks over at IGN have unleashed a whole bunch of strange with the announcement of Mojowijo, a Wiimote which doubles as a vibrator! Seriously, you need to keep reading …
Steve DuMosch, a former software engineer and senior project manager for Microsoft is a genius. He has developed, over a period of six years, a vibrator which attatches to the Wiimote. Now, the vibrator is not actually compatible with the Nintendo Wii. Instead, you have to go through this long and strange process or installing software onto your computer, then connecting the Wiimote via Bluetooth.
According to the Mojowijo website, “the device is able to transform the varying motions of the control into appropriate vibration signals and send them to another selected device – in the same room or over the internet.” Essentially, you’re not actually playing the Wii, you’re just using the Wiimote’s buttons to do your bidding!
With an expected retail price of $50 – $130, I don’t think I’ll be picking this one up … not that … uh … I would if it was cheaper … umm … yeah …
