Coming out in November, just in time for the movie, gamers can get their hands on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. It will be available for all major consoles, as well as the PC, but this preview will focus solely on the version that’s coming out for the Nintendo DS family of handhelds.
If any of you have read the Harry Potter books, you know that Deathly Hallows is the final chapter to the popular Potter series. After the tragic death of Dumbledore, and the uprising of Voldemorts gang of evil minions, Potter and his friends must gather all of their strength to defeat the Dark Lord.
Since the book itself is massive, both the movie and the games have been split into two parts – a wise decision. In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, we will see Harry begin to find all of the Horcruxes, items that have fragmented pieces of Voldemorts soul, with all intentions of destroying them. Ron and Hermoine are along for the ride, so gamers and fans of the Potter books will get to relive some of their favorite moments. With action-packed adventure, puzzles, and more, players can expect to really enjoy their experience. Additionally, there is even a multiplayer version that allows friends to go head-to-head with one taking on the role as Harry, and the other as a Dementor.
