Today, Team17 announced the release of the final installment of the Alien Breed trilogy.
Available on Xbox Live Marketplace and Steam for PC, Alien Breed 3: Descent features new weapons, as well as new co-op and survival game modes.
“The third and final installment, Alien Breed™ 3: Descent marks a climatic end to a trilogy of which we are extremely proud”, says Paul Dunstan, Senior Designer at Team17 Software Ltd. “Amongst the fearsome new aliens and goliath bosses to battle, the environment itself will challenge how you compete for survival; from the turbulently violent space station’s exterior hull, to the rapidly flooding decks as it submerges into the crushing depths of an icy ocean.”

Alien Bred 3: Descent is available on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 points, or on Steam for $9.99 USD. Also, for this week only, any player who purchases the game via Steam will receive an additional 10% off the game.
