I have been following the Steam Holiday Sale, and I just keep seeing deals that I don’t feel are worth getting excited over. I did score Assassin’s Creed 2 for $13 or something like that, but meh! I am not really impressed with the sale pricing. I logged on today, and was extremely pleased to see two offers I couldn’t help but share with all of you!
Far Cry 2 or the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Bundle (containing both Shadow of Chernobyl & Call of Pripyat), for a measly FIVE BUCKS!! ($4.99 if you wanna nit-pick on the penny.)

Now, I have mentioned Far Cry 2 before, in fact, I wrote a lengthy review as one of my first articles. The game is wonderful, with beautiful graphics, and sandbox style gameplay; it really sucks you in! It is so life-like and engaging, but I could go on forever, just read my review. And for $5, go get it, you won’t regret it!

Yeah, I am a big fan of first person shooters (FPS); they are one of my favorite genres. I have played so many great games, but S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is, by far, the top of my list for shooters. It’s one of those games that will just keep sucking you in, hour after hour. With the current story preparing for the direct sequel soon, now would be a good time to score the best two games in the series. $2.50 a game, and each game is at least 40 hours long (depending on how much exploring you do), so that’s like 6.25 pennies an hour, hardly a deal you can afford to pass up! 😀
The sale is only for the next 24 hours, so you might want to get on it ASAP, I promise that you will regret it if you miss out!
