Video games can, on occasion, go over the top when it comes to character and weapon design. Sometimes this results in a game that is seen as too campy, or too over the top (what I like to call pulling a Liefeld). When done right, however, you end up with something like Anarchy Reigns’ third character to be detailed by SEGA: Big Bull and his Jet Hammer.
I’m sorry, did I say Jet Hammer? What could a jet hammer possibly be? Well, it’s a rocket jet with a handle attached to it, allowing the wielder to use the jet as a hammer. A jet-propelled hammer. A Jet Hammer. Now, I agree, wielding a Jet Hammer would be fiendishly difficult for even the strongest of men, which is why Big Bull is no mere man. Measuring in at an impressive 9’4″ and 2,866 lbs (2.88 meters and 1300 kg.), Big Bull was 31 when his brain was transferred into the mechanical monstrosity it has inhabited for the last four years. How did he get his cybrid hands on a Jet Hammer, you may ask? Well, the Jet in question is his suit’s propulsion system. When released from his suit, it becomes a weapon of mass ass-kicking.
