Sega has announced today that a demo of the anticipated strategy game, Total War: Shogun 2, will be available on February 22. The demo will be available to download through Steam.
The demo will include the real-time and turn-based campaign gameplay that make the Total War franchise so popular.
Sega also announced that by pre-ordering Total War: Shogun 2 through Gamestop or Best Buy (either online or in store), owners will receive exclusive in-game content.
The bonus content depends on where you pre-order. If pre-ordering through Gamestop, the player will unlock the playable Battle of Kawagoe, a 16th century battle set at night, and dependent on speed and stealth.
By pre-ordering through Best Buy, the player will receive 1,000 extra Koku (the in-game currency) at the beginning of the game, useful to buy more buildings or to upgrade towns quicker.
The full game will be released on PC on March 15. To learn more about the game, visit the game’s website.
