To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Resident Evil, Capcom will upgrade the visuals of some of the series’ best installments, Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X. Both games will be now have HD graphics and will be available to download on the Xbox 360 and PS3 this fall.
Along with enhanced graphics, the games will also have trophies and achievements for all those treasure hunters out there. The new HD version of Resident Evil 4 will also include all the bonus content that was made available after the game’s initial release, like the Separate Ways epilogue.
For anyone who hasn’t played these games, these downloadable games are a great opportunity to get to play them. If you’ve played them but it’s been awhile since you made your way through Rockfort Island, the games may still be a fun way to release those zombie killing urges.
Capcom also plans to release other games, as well as merchandise and apparel to celebrate 15 years of Resident Evil. To see how much Resident Evil 4 has changed graphically, take a look at all the comparisons below.
