Gelid Games is hard at work developing their first title, Wheels of Destruction: World Tour, due to arrive on PSN on Soonday, Soonuary Soonth. Unable to afford $59.99 for Twisted Metal next week? Well, you may be in luck (depending on how soon the arbitrary release window of “soon” really is), because the ambiguously titled Wheels of Destruction: World Tour has some passing similarities to Twisted Metal.
Vehicular combat, when done well, is fun as hell. When done poorly, is utter crap. Fingers crossed, y’know. Wheels of Destruction: World Tour puts you in five different artillery laden vehicles in five dangerous regions of a post-apocalyptic Europe battling against others in Capture the Flag and Deathmatch arenas.
Sounds like a blast.
