Capcom loves releasing fighting games. I’ll admit, I own quite a few Capcom fighting titles, but I don’t always give them the love that’s needed. Maybe it’s because I’m bad at them…one day I’d love to have a nice fight-stick to help increase my chances of winning. That being said, today Capcom has announced the limited edition Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set, coming to the USA on September 18th. This happens to be 5 days after the 25th anniversary of my birth, so I choose to believe that Capcom is releasing this collector’s set as a late birthday gift for me. One can wish, right?
The limited edition Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set includes:
- Past and Present Street Fighter Games – Playable on current-gen PS3™ and Xbox 360 console systems, the four critically-acclaimed titles selected from the star-studded catalog are: Super Street Fighter® II Turbo HD Remix, Street Fighter® III 3rd Strike Online Edition, Super Street Fighter® IV Arcade Edition with all costume DLC, and Street Fighter® X Tekken® including all character and Swap Costume DLC.
- Exclusive Video – The two-disc Blu-Ray set includes a documentary that highlights the profound influence the franchise has had on fans – and vice versa – throughout the years. This is a LOT of content, and a really well built collector’s set. So of course, it must cost you an arm and a leg, right? You can purchase this big bundle for $149.99, which is a decent price for the amount of items included. At this moment, I’m debating on spending my money on an item such as this as a “birthday present” to myself.
