The Expendables was a mindless action romp, giving an entire generation a nostalgic kick in the pants for the action movies of the 1980s. The Expendables 2, hitting movie theaters this August 17th, promises to be another such adventure. Get ready for The Expendables 2 with The Expendables 2: The Videogame, coming from Ubisoft to your PS3, Xbox 360, and PC digitally. As part of the PlayStation Play promotion, The Expendables 2: The Videogame will be available on PSN on July 31 for $14.99 ($11.99 for PS+ members). It will be available for XBLA and PC players on August 17th for 1200MSP/$14.99.
The game’s story ends right where the upcoming movie’s story begins, so PSN players will have ample time to make their way through and go into the movie with a little more backstory. XBLA/PC players will have to wait if they want that same experience.
