I’ll be honest here and say that I’ve never played any of the Zone of the Enders games. I’ve heard about them, and I understand that they have a cult appeal, but I’ve simply never gotten around to it. I find this particularly odd, because I do enjoy the concept of mechs, but there’s nothing to be done about it now. Except play the upcoming Zone of the Enders HD Collection, of course. Due out this month, what better way to play than with the newly detailed (plus or minus two weeks) Limited Edition?
Zone of the Enders HD Collection’s Limited Edition will include both Zone of the Enders and the European special edition version of Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner. Both games are fully remastered in HD, and this collection marks the first release of the sequel in the United States. Along with the games themselves, the Limited Edition includes a Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance demo, an import soundtrack of remixes from the series’ music, and a 100 page art book featuring new work from Yoji Shinkawa.
The Limited Edition will be available on October 30th for PS3 and Xbox 360.
