I love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There are a lot of things that, honestly, I appreciate now simply out of nostalgia and fond memory, but the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles receive my sincere appreciation. Has the franchise missed a few steps over the decades? Unfortunately, yes. However, when the Turtles hit right, they’re phenomenal, which is why I have high hopes for what Activision has announced today: a new TMNT game for digital download. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will be available this summer on XBLA, PSN, and Steam.
This new title is a third-person brawler that features four-player online co-op play in an “original hyper-realistic 3D style.” Check out the trailer and the character screenshots below:
