With Mario Kart 8 only a month away we at Marooners’ Rock are highly excited. I mean who wouldn’t want the game? I can say right now my personal Facebook already has trash talking and plans for all-nighters between friends. Anyways, as you can see in the title the UK is lucky once again when it comes to Mario Kart 8. If you live in the UK you can pre-order a limited edition Mario Kart 8 game, which includes a blue shell as you can see in the video at the bottom of this post.
Even though North America may never get the Limited Edition, the UK is getting another Mario Kart 8 product. If you’ve already watched the video you may have noticed a Mario Kart 8 Premium bundle–and from the looks of it the 32GB edition. What makes matters worse for owners outside of the UK is that if you head to the Nintendo UK store you can pick from Team Mario or Team Luigi editions. Even though the UK is getting all the cool stuff we can only hope the North American branch of Nintendo takes notice and releases one or both of the special editions. At least we’ll have the new Wii controllers to look forward to once the game is released this May.
