Don’t miss out on this exciting campaign to fund a brand new, old school adventure game! The Thimbleweed Park Kickstarter ends this Thursday, December 18th, at 10:00am PST / 1:00pm EST / 6:00pm GMT.
Brought to you by Maniac Mansion creators Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick, the Thimblweed Park is an upcoming point-and-click adventure featuring a thrilling murder mystery – all set in 1987! The Thimbleweed Park Kickstarter reached its $375k goal in its first week alone and has already hit its stretch goals for English voices as well as French, Italian, German, and Spanish text translations. At the $625k mark, Thimbleweed Park will be available for iOS and Android versions.
Set in 1987, Thimbleweed Park isn’t the only thing that’s a bit dusty. Two washed up detectives have been called in to investigate a murder mystery when a dead body washes up just outside of the quiet town, once booming with visitors and “the state’s largest pillow factory.” Thimbleweed Park has five playable characters, many endings, bodacious 2D graphic styles, and a classic vibe that truly sets this point-and-click adventure apart from the competition.
