Activision and Radical Entertainment’s games Prototype and Prototype 2 (plus DLC for both) have been teased to be getting the new console treatment for a couple weeks now, starting with the trophy and achievement releases for PS4 and Xbox One, respectively. Well, wait no longer, shapeshifters!
Tonight, Prototype Biohazard was released on the Xbox Store with no announcement, no hullabaloo, no anything. Just a page and a buy now button. What is interesting is that there are reports of no noticeable graphical enhancements for the ‘new title.’ This is only on the Xbox One, seeing as the PS4 has not received the title yet as of 10:00 PM on 7/13. However, it has been rumored that the game will be released tomorrow for Sony’s console.
If you are interested in jumping in on this possibly ‘un-“remastered” game,’ the price is $49.99 here!
Once Sony releases this game, we will include the link to their store as well.
So what do you all think? Are remastered games getting old? Should we just accept that backwards compatibility will work and not buy these “SUPER AWESOME HD VERSIONS OF OUR FAVORITE GAMES!!!!” ?
