According to our friends at Xboxoneuk.com, Xbox Preview Program members will get the new Xbox One dashboard in September. Xbox announced that the public would receive the new dashboard in November at Gamescom on Tuesday.
According to Xboxoneuk.com, “with the change comes a bunch of new features such as a community section which includes the Activity Feed and Trending features. There’s also Watch section, containing the normal apps you use to view things such as Netflix, HBO etc.”
This dashboard update will bring the Windows 10 experience and Cortana to Xbox One and bring it in line with Microsoft’s other platforms.
“The Preview program is by invitation only. If your friends are already in the program, they can invite you by using the Invite friends page in the Xbox Preview Dashboard app,” per the Xbox.com Preview Program FAQ page.
