…and it’s a bit shocking. Well, not as shocking as Halo: The Master Chief collection and it’s system stuttering 62 GB install but it’s big. Finder is reporting an install of 46.19 GB. 46.19 GB of HDD space that we won’t be getting back until we decide to delete the game in the future for more space on the already cramped 500 GB drive that most Xbox Ones came with. I’m glad that I only have Destiny on my Xbox which leaves me with a whopping 330.4 GB of free space.
Of course this all wouldn’t be so bad if our 500 GB hard drives actually had 500 GB of usable space. Unfortunately, the OS and other support software takes up almost 140 GB leaving the end user with just under 365 GB of usable space. It seems that the 1 TB systems are coming out just in time… What do you think of this news?
