There was a lot talked about in the 11.12.15 Nintendo Direct! Here is a breakdown of the event, or feel free to watch it!
Wii U and 3DS
Super Smash Bros.
Final Fantasy VII’s Cloud Strife enters the battle! The buster sword wielding protagonist of the iconic game will become a playable character in Smash Bros! Along with a new stage to fight on. More information on the Smash series will be coming in December.
Wii U
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD
The rumors are true! The 2006 Gamecube and Wii title is coming to Wii U in full HD! The game will be compatible with all of the Legend of Zelda smash Amiibo, along with a new Wolf Link Amiibo. The functions are not revealed yet. There is a pre order bonus that will include the games soundtrack with your purchase. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is to be released on March 2nd, 2016.
The Legend of Zelda: Wii U (name not final)
Next year celebrate 30 years of Legend of Zelda! To celebrate we will finally get our Wii U title for the series. The direct showed a quick clip of the new game, which looks amazing. The clip wasn’t much just Link sitting on a horse looking across a landscape but it was enough! It was also revealed that the Wolf Link Amiibo will have a function in the new title.

Pokken Tournament
The PokeMon fighting game looks like it is shaping up to be quite the game. Pitting your favorite PokeMon against each other in intense action battles. A Shadow Mewtwo Amiibo card will launch with the first run of the game unlocking the character earlier than normal. Expect Pokken Tournament Spring 2016.
Star Fox Zero
The canine pilot gets his first game in far too long with Star Fox Zero. Gameplay has you using the Gamepad screen along with the TV giving you different perspectives of the battle ensuing around you. Allowing you to shoot more accurately and try different strategies. Pick up the game on April 22nd, 2016!
Splatoon update
Update went live at 5pm PT 11/12/15 which gives players access to 40 pieces of gear. Another update coming on 11/13/15 6pm PT will add the stage Museum d’Alfonsino. Updates don’t end there, keep your eyes open for even more updates in the future!
Super Mario Maker
An web portal will become available in December that will expand search options making finding levels easier!
Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival
Grab your Animal Crossing Amiibo figures and play as your favorites in a dynamic board game. You can also play other modes with the Animal Crossing Amiibo cards. The game will include Isabelle and Digby Amiibo figures and 3 Amiibo cards. The game launches on November 13th.
Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash
Get your Nintendo tennis elbow on November 20th. The game will feature things like the Mega Mushroom, Mega Battle Mode, Classic Mode, Online multiplayer, 4 player matches, and Amiibo compatibility.
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Be ready to explore the incredible expansive beautiful world of Xenoblade Chronicles X on December 4th, 2015. Downloadable data packs will be available to decrease load times for physical copy owners. They are not required to play the game. You can also now pre-order and pre-load the game from the Nintendo e-Shop. The game is looking as beautiful as ever as the signature landscapes and environments were put on full display.
3DS
PokeMon Red, Blue, and Yellow
The games that started it all! These classic games will be available to play on 3DS on the games’ 20 year anniversary of their Japan release, February 20th, 2016. Experience the games in their full capacity as the trading and battle function will work over the wireless functions of the 3DS.
Hyrule Warriors: Legends
The epic Hyrule Warriors experience goes portable with this game. This game includes playable Toon Link, Tetra, and King of Hyrule. On top of that is a character new to the Legend of Zelda series, Linkle. A dual crossbow wielding girl. The game will enable you to take control of multiple characters giving you even more options on the battlefield. Enter the fray on March 25th, 2016.
Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam
Mario and Luigi and Paper Mario collide in this new game for 3DS on January 22nd, 2016.
Fire Emblem Fates
Experience 2 sides of the same story with Fire Emblem Fates. Choose either Birthright or Conquest and see both sides of the story once you finish one with a discount on the second (digital only). Later on a third option, Revelation, will reveal even more of the story. A special edition will be available and will include all 3 games, an artbook, and 3DS XL pouch. Start the adventure on February 19th, 2016.
Legend of Zelda Tri Force Heroes
Free DLC is coming December 2nd adding the Tribeck uniform and the Fierce Deity armor along with the Den of Trials.
Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon
Play as 1 of 20 different PokeMon and encounter every single PokeMon in Super Mystery Dungeon. Uncover why PokeMon are turning to stone and experience the adventure of a lifetime on November 20th!
Nintendo Badge Arcade
Now available in the Nintendo e-Shop. Nintendo Badge Arcade is a claw game to collect badges to decorate your home menu. Free to start giving you 5 attempts. After that you can practice 5 times a day and purchase additional real attempts.
Dragon Quest
Both Dragon Quest VII and Dragon Quest VIII are on their way to the 3DS family. Fully remastered for the 3DS embark on these two incredible adventures in 2016.
PokeMon Picross
Picross and Pokemon meet in this game. Find it on the e-Shop in December
Amiibo
January 22nd will bring us Lucas, Resetti, Blathers, Celeste and Kicks, and series 2 of Animal Crossing Amiibo cards
Third Party
Final Fantasy Explorers is an action RPG for 3DS. With more than 20 jobs and access to series favorite characters and all of the DLC that was released in Japan, play with your friends on January 26th, 2016.
Mega Man Legacy Collection
Play through the first six NES Mega Man games. Try out the challenge mode and browse production art across all 6 games. A gold-colored Mega Man Amiibo figure will launch alongside this fantastic collection.

Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune brings us this action platformer. Play through on your own or with a friend in online co-op or competitive modes. Coming to Wii U on February 9th, 2016, and a 3DS version will soon follow.
LEGO Marvel’s Avengers
Play through the events and as characters from 6 of of the movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, adding in content from Marvel comics, there is a lot to see in this game! Be a part of the action all with LEGO flair on January 26th.
Project X Zone
This time Nintendo joins Capcom, SEGA, and BANDAI NAMCO in the already crossover series with Chrom and Lucina from Fire Emblem Awakening and Fiora from Xenoblade Chronicles. Find it on 3DS on February 16th.
