It is nearly impossible to overstate the importance of Doom, even after 23 years. There have been sequels, re-releases, and even a phenomenal movie (well, phenomenally bad) to keep the game in the forefront of the industry. And now, Doom Fever is about to hit gamers like an E. coli outbreak. Take a moment and marvel at the new campaign trailer from Bethesda.

As for this new game DOOM is under development at id Software®, the studio that pioneered the first-person shooter genre and invented multiplayer Deathmatch. Relentless demons, impossibly destructive guns, and fast, fluid movement provide the foundation for intense, first-person combat – whether you’re obliterating demon hordes through the depths of Hell in the single-player campaign, or competing against your friends in numerous multiplayer modes. Doom will hit shelves, physical and virtual, on May 13th, 2016 and they’ve even released pictures of the collectors edition, which you can now pre-order.
