Who doesn’t enjoy watching anime? I think my last count of discs reached around 400 if not more. (Trust me it’s more!) Well FUNimation Entertainment announced today that its new series “Dimension W” will be broadcast on the Adult Swim cable network beginning on February 27, 2016.
Personally, I’m very excited about this series and I think it’s something my girl Erin would enjoy. From the looks of it if she’s enjoying Psycho Pass this will be another she’ll like. English dub episodes of the new anime series will air during the Toonami block each Saturday night at 12:30AM Eastern. Each dub episode will be available exclusively on Adult Swim for two-weeks before it is available for streaming on Funimation.com.
Also, Funimation is releasing a bi-weekly Production Diary on YouTube available here which features behind-the-scenes videos on the creation of “Dimension W.” As you can see FUNimation is going all out for it’s fans so those that didn’t know about the series will know quite a lot by the time it’s over. New simulcast subtitled episodes of the series stream at 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays at Funimation.com.

In the year 2071, the world’s energy problems seem solved by a network of cross-dimensional electric-field inductors- “coils” -that extract energy from a seemingly infinite source. That source is the W dimension, a fourth plane that exists beyond the X, Y, and Z dimensions. In this world, unofficial “illegal” coils harness powers that the police can’t hope to counter. Dealing with these coils is the job of coil-hating repo man Kyoma, whose run-in with the unique coil android Mira leads the two to form a reluctant partnership.
