While there is a season pass for Ubisoft’s latest title, Tom Clancy’s The Division, they have stated there will be plenty of free updates for those who are attempting to save New York City from an unprecedented attack. The first of these updates, called Incursions, will be dropping sometime in April.
According to Ubisoft, Incursions “will add an endgame activity designed for squad play, challenging teams of four players to face nigh-unstoppable enemies for high-level loot.” This could be a great addition, as there are those who rush through the game and hit the level cap of 30 and are always hungry for more.
Named Falcon Lost, this Incursion tasks you to, “Find the missing Joint Task Force patrol and stop the Last Man Battalion from massing inside the underground facility.” The recommended gear score is 150 and should test even the most hardened Division Agents.
Also coming to The Division in the Incursion update is Loot Trading with other players. This is something that Destiny players in particular have been clamoring for, and it appears The Division will beat it to the punch.
Hopefully Ubisoft continues with the steady stream of free updates, along with paid DLC, as this can ensure that players will have no interest in leaving the deserted streets of the Big Apple anytime soon.
